House building and social housing
More than most, the housing sector in the UK has been affected by the twin forces of a faltering economy and ever-changing public policy. Following a period of rapid growth, these have now led to a notable contraction of the UK housing market.
From social housing schemes, retirement villages, major regeneration schemes, to luxury apartments and housing developments, the need for more adequate housing provision remains as important today as it did when set out in the Barker Review back in 2004.
Commercial housing schemes face their own communication challenges and opportunities, whether it’s engaging with the local community, supporting the planning process, effectively marketing a development, or building corporate brand profile - effective communication sits at its heart.
Compounded by changes in policy, funding and regulation the social housing sector faces similar challenges. From a communications perspective we help our clients navigate these. Our aim is to help shape opinions, responses and behaviours in order to support our clients’ aspirations.
Camargue is working with a range of private housing developers, social housing landlords and ALMOs. We have supported some of the UK’s largest housing schemes.
In a sector subject to new policy, initiatives and building legislation, we use our in-depth knowledge and network of industry contacts to ensure clients stay ahead of their field and have a clear voice on the issues that count both in Whitehall and within local communities.
