Inward investment and regeneration. Client examples

Greater Lincoln Partnership

Since 1993, Camargue has provided a media and intermediaries programme to attract investment into Lincolnshire. We currently work with the Greater Lincoln Partnership – a body that comprises the economic development teams at Lincoln City Council and neighbouring district councils.

The UK’s fourth largest county, the early 1990s saw Lincolnshire barely on the investment radar, having been by-passed by the wave of economic prosperity generated during the previous decade.

Camargue has played an important role in revising this misconception and in revealing the area’s unrecognised potential.

Investment Belfast

Investment Belfast (IB) is a partnership between the city’s business leaders, Belfast City Council and Belfast’s academic community. IB was established to support the growth of a strong, wealth-creating economy in Northern Ireland’s capital. Over a two-year period, Camargue has implemented a programme focused on national, business and trade media in Great Britain.

South West of England

The South West of England Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) was established in 1999 by the government to promote the long-term economic success of the region. Camargue was appointed to handle all media and community relations for two of the most active counties in the Agency’s region; Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

Camargue is the first port of call for all media contacts regarding SWRDA projects in these areas and plays a lead role in promoting initiatives ranging from urban regeneration to rural development, whilst also handling crisis communications.
