National Grid appoints Camargue

Camargue has been appointed to National Grid`s two-year framework contract to deliver community relations support for its electricity, gas and property businesses.
National Grid said: ‘We are carrying out a significant investment programme over the coming years to maintain and upgrade our network, and a number of these schemes will require extensive public consultation before we can apply for consent from the new Infrastructure Planning Commission.
‘We believe the agencies we have chosen will add to our knowledge and experience of community relations and will help us to engage effectively with the communities where we are delivering these vital projects.’
Camargue is one of six agencies on the roster.
