Camargue operates a successful graduate intake scheme underlined by the fact that two of our previous graduate trainees are now board directors.
Each year we interview graduates during the spring and early summer with a view to providing training places for the best three or four individuals. Others may be taken on at other intervals of the year, depending on market conditions. We want the best available candidates – they are the future of our business. Successful candidates are likely to have achieved a high academic standard and will prove themselves to be literate, articulate and personable. Ideally, we expect a 2:1 as a minimum. We also look for evidence of motivation, ambition and energy.
We welcome speculative CVs but apologise in advance for not being able to respond to each and every application. What we can promise is that CVs sent to us will get an initial appraisal and that candidates that pass this stage will be invited in for a ‘common ground’ discussion. Beyond this, interviews can run to three or four stages. This gives us an opportunity to get to know you in some detail and you an opportunity to understand what it’s really like to work within a busy agency environment.
Typically a new graduate will work as the junior member of a small team. A relatively flat structure within the agency allows new recruits to benefit from the experience of directors and other senior members of the team in each office. Exposure to client work is gradual depending on the skills and aptitude of each individual and client requirements at the time.
