Securing the long-term future of Heyford Park
Camargue has played an important role in securing planning consent for the Dorchester Group’s masterplan for the redevelopment of Heyford Park, opening the way for an exciting future.
With 315 existing let homes, businesses employing over 1,000 people and plans for the development of 763 homes, the project required close consultation and engagement with the community and its stakeholders in order to deliver the best possible future.
Camargue delivered ongoing communications, stakeholder engagement, media relations and pre-planning consultation support. The outline planning application was approved by the Planning Inspector in 2010 and the masterplan was given full planning consent in spring 2011.
We continue to support the Dorchester Group in media and community relations activity, working with the developer to build relationships with existing residents and keeping them informed of developments.
This has varied from the delivery of a quarterly community newsletter to involving residents in the development of services and facilities on the site, such as housing and education provision.
