Green business is good business

Despite the economic downturn, the construction industry’s appetite to push the boundaries of sustainability has remained, driven by an understanding that green business was good business and that sustainability measures invariably brought about cost savings.

Against this backdrop, RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and a group of leading construction businesses launched the Ska Rating – a unique project-specific assessment tool that could benchmark the environmental performance of a fit out or refurbishment.

Camargue has devised and delivered an ongoing media campaign to help RICS embed the Ska Rating as an industry-wide standard.

Two years from launch it has a firm foothold in the UK construction industry with a number of accredited projects completed and hundreds more registered. We are also supporting a series of other projects covering the RICS FM and quantity surveyor audiences.
