The Pledge – a campaign with a strong cause
With over 40,000 construction graduates failing to find job opportunities as a consequence of the recession, John Rowan & Partners wanted to take action to help.
The Pledge was a campaign developed to raise awareness and spearhead industry action on this pressing issue, which, if unaddressed, would leave the sector with a major skills crisis on its hands.
Recognising its importance, all of the leading industry bodies have been bought on board as active supporters.
The leading sector magazine, Building, continues to be media partner for the initiative. The Pledge has generated widespread press coverage and profile. With top search engine ranking, The Pledge website continues to play an important role in capturing industry supporters. Reaffirming its success, the Minister for Universities and Science has recently written a letter advocating and endorsing the project.
