Camargue

The Data Centre Risk Index sets a new global standard for the data centre industry. Camargue’s technical nous combined with an ability to translate complex ideas into everyday language helped ensure its success.

Setting the standard

hurleypalmerflatt is an independent multi-disciplinary consultancy and a leading designer of business-critical complex environments such as data centres, trading floors and operational control centres.

The company has been integral to the development of data centres throughout Asia Pacific, EMEA and the Americas with clients including major global banks and international data centre developers and operators.

In 2011, hurleypalmerflatt teamed up with Cushman & Wakefield to publish a study evaluating the risks to global data centre facilities and international investment in business-critical IT infrastructure.

Camargue played a key role in defining the scope of the data centre Risk Index and co-ordinating its development. Initially, the Index was seen as a route to securing media coverage but with our input it has become a unique research document and an important tool for driving commercial activity.

An international media launch managed by Camargue delivered coverage in half a dozen overseas territories and a high-profile launch event attracted leading multinationals, global corporates and financial institutions.
