Camargue helps Whitbread to score double at EG awards 2011
The WHR property team carried off awards for Occupier of the Year and EG Front Cover of the Year in recognition of the quality of its achievements in 2011 and the creativity of its advertising and property communications campaign.
Camargue has been working with Whitbread since 2008 to evolve its property communications and to deliver an integrated campaign which puts Premier Inn front of mind among developer, investor, landowner, agency and supply chain property partners.
WHR won Occupier of the Year in response to its industry-leading development programme which has seen the business add in excess of one million sq ft to its land bank, open more than 4,000 bedrooms and 13 new pub/restaurants, and create approximately 2,500 jobs.
The Front Cover of the Year Award is given to the outstanding magazine cover treatment. WHR’s ‘Lenny’ themed cover was judged the stand out edition and commended for its intelligent linking of Premier Inn’s consumer campaign with its business to business property communications campaign for added impact.

The awards were held at the Hilton on Park Lane Hotel, London on Thursday 8 December 2011 and attended by approximately 600 industry leaders and members of the commercial property industry.
